Once you have downloaded the application from our website www.zeddsoftware.com, extract all the files into a folder on your local disk. Then click OutlookAutoEmailerProfessional.exe file to launch the application. That is where it will ask you for the Registration Key. If you are trying it out, you can click Continue to go to the application to try it out for FREE.

To avoid manually clicking Yes on Microsoft Security Dialog box, please go to www.download.com and search & download a utility called ClickYes that automatically clicks the Yes button at the security prompt.

If you wish to preview all your emails before you send it, you can check the box to Save them to the Draft folder instead of Send Emails immediately. You can then review and send it at your convenience.

To Import Contacts into Outlook and then send emails via Outlook AutoEmailer:
Please have the following columns in your spreadsheet -
First Name = Employee First Name
Last Name = Employee Last Name
Anniversary = Anniversary Date
Birthday = Birth date
Categories = [unique category]

1. In your Outlook client, Go to File Import and Export
2. Select Import from another program or file and click Next
3. Select Microsoft Excel
4. Map the above columns to columns in Outlook
5. Map the Anniversary Date to Anniversary date in the Contact profile
6. Map the Birthday to Birth date in the Contact profile
7. Map Categories to the Categories field. (This will help you to filter out these contacts at a later date)
8. Click Import
   

   Once all the Employees are imported, you are ready to use Outlook AutoEmailer Professional. Go to the Birthday & Anniversary tab and in the Anniversary section, enter the standard email body with any pictures, etc and then click Send. Outlook AutoEmailer Professional will then send out the emails within the date limit specified and will automatically schedule it to be sent on the day of the Anniversary / Birthday.

Automatic Footer is only in the Trial Version. The footer that gets generated in the Trial Version is automatically removed once you buy the software and register it with us.

The small disk icon above the email windows is for saving your standard email messages in a Word doc for future uses. You can save your preferences by clicking the CD icon in the tool bar and that will save your Salutation / Subject Line etc for future usage.

If you get a Run-time Error 339, OCX not registered correctly, please copy all the OCX files from the AutoEmailerProfessional.zip to c:\Windows\System32 directory on your computer and manually register them as below:

For Installation on Windows 7 Users (32 Bit & 64 Bit)

1. After unzipping the files in AutoEmailerProfessional.zip, please right click on AutoEmailerProfessional.exe and select "Run As Administrator". You will always have to run it as an Administrator to avoid any errors!
2. If you get a Run-time Error 339, OCX not registered correctly, please copy all the OCX files from the AutoEmailerProfessional.zip to c:\Windows\System32 directory on your computer and manually register them as below:
   1. Click Start Programs Accessories and right click on Command Prompt.
   2. Click "Run As Administrator" on the Command Prompt icon & run the following commands..
      cd\ For Windows 7 32 Bit: give the following: cd\Windows\System32
      For Windows 7 64 Bit: give the following: cd\Windows\SysWOW64
   3. regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\RICHTX32.OCX
   4. regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\TABCTL32.OCX
   5. regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\MSCOMCT2.OCX
   6. regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\MSCOMCTL.OCX
   7. regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\MSCOMDLG32.OCX
3. will register the ActiveX controls and Outlook AutoEmailer Professional should now run successfully.
4. You may also have to download the DHTMLED.msi from Microsoft's Download Center -

   And after downloading it,double click to install it.
